SAAS

The Syrian Arab Association of Scotland (SAAS) is an independent, non-profit, non-political, non-denominational organization, established to act as a forum for all those of Syrian descent and their families, residing in Scotland.

The primary objective of the Society is to enhance ties amongst members of the Syrian Community in Scotland. The Association will work tirelessly to protect the interest of the Syrian Community in Scotland, and to enhance our cultural and social standing within the local communities.

Aims:

The SAAS is established for charitable purposes only.

• The SAAS is established as a forum for the development and advancement of means of communication between members of the Syrian society living in Scotland.
• The SAAS works towards enhancing and promoting integration as well as social and cultural activities between Syrians (and their families) living in Scotland.

Objectives:

The objectives of the SAAS shall be

• To facilitate the development and advancement of communication between members of the Syrian society living in Scotland.
• To enhance social and cultural activities between members of the Syrian society living in Scotland.
• To promote integration and social and cultural activities between the members of the Syrian Society and the native Scottish population living in Scotland.
